We want everyone who uses our service to be happy. –And although we strive to do as much as we can to make that happen, there are ways to guarantee that problems never arise between you and your cleaning company. A great service relationship thrives when both parties treat it with communication and respect. Here’s a great list we’ve put together of ways that you can not only improve your own peace of mind, but also improve your service from us!
- Communicate your needs: Once you have established that your cleaning service will be coming on a regular basis, make sure they are aware of the specific things you want done, before they arrive. Everyone has little details they don’t want overlooked – maybe yours is cleaning the top of the refrigerator, or dusting the baseboards, or even having your bed made a certain way. Even though you think we should already know that something should be done, let us know what’s important to you.
- Respect our workers: Our staff works hard, dusting, vacuuming, and scrubbing, doing the most un-glamorous and tough job in the world – cleaning up other people’s messes. Nobody wants to be treated unkindly or like they are trespassers in your home. Yes, you are paying for our service, but think about the way you would want to be treated by your “boss.” Don’t our workers deserve the same level of respect?
- Keep your appointments: We do our best to always show up when we say we’re going to show up, and we ask that you do the same. Things come up, and we understand that completely. We ask that you provide us with as much notice as possible if you are going to cancel a cleaning appointment, preferably at least 48 hours.
- Let us know when things go wrong: The sooner you let us know that you are unhappy with some aspect of your cleaning, the sooner we can rectify it. One of the worst things for us to hear is that you’ve been paying for months for service you are not happy with. Sometimes, we can even come over and fix things immediately.
- Have realistic expectations: Yes, we can make vast improvements to improve the look of your home and your appliances – but sometimes the damage over time is too much for us to make something look brand new. Our advice to you is if you want new, buy new. If you want something to look better – and hey, maybe we can make it look new, you never know – call us to come in and give it a shot.
It’s our privilege to be in your home, helping to improve and maintain a healthy, organized way of life for you and your family. We take our job seriously, and by following these tips, we hope that you will always be able to say, “I’m so happy I hired ICleanHouse.com!”
