What does “Green” Really Mean?

It makes sense for us to take care of our Earth. How we treat our planet effects the lives of our children, and our children’s children. That’s why it’s important that we take it seriously, and we don’t just treat it like a gimmick. We can’t just use a “green” label as a business tool. It is a label that needs to be used with integrity and true responsibility for the future of the planet.

Everywhere you look, products and services are claiming to be “green.” You hear about it on the news every day. The US Government is investing in “sustainable resources.” Anything used more than once is called “recycled” or “repurposed.” Many of the products in the grocery and hardware stores claim to be “safe for the environment” or “responsible.”

At ICleanHouse.com, we take our “green” label seriously. To us, it means using the purest of all cleaners, Vapor Steam. Vapor steam effectively removes even the worst grime by using nature’s own cleaner, steam. It cleans by applying superheated steam at a force of about 75psi. The microscopic particles are then captured in a clean micro fiber cloth. When we do use cleaners, we use only all-natural cleaners, and we don’t cut costs by labeling caustic or harmful chemicals with “green” labels

At ICleanHouse.com , green cleaning not a gimmick, it’s not a false claim, and it’s not a trend. It’s just the way we do business.

If you are curious about which businesses can stand by their “green” claims, and which ones are just using it as a marketing tactic, check out the website http://www.greenwashingindex.com/. They rate business according to how well they can back up their environmental claims.
